The
creative surge in Fousiya Yoonus blossomed at the tender age
of six. Her first exploits in creativity took shape in the
form of stories and pictures. She soon discovered her inner
self mirrored in poetry. Her diary was flooded with poems
from her encounters with the muse. Her imagination took
flight beyond the confines of home and school, drifting to
the wider horizons of the unbounded world.
Fousiya’s
works reflect her passionate love for nature, dwelling upon
the ecstasy of the rain-drenched land, a rainbow covering
the sky, mellifluous koels chanting their notes, and the
casket of mysteries that nature opened before her. At times,
she delves into moods of empathy towards fellow beings…
her heartstrings tugged by the ravages of war, the cry of
abandoned…
Fousiya
Yoonus was born on 13th August, 1989 as the elder
